So…apparently tracks are pretty tough…. Sledge hammer wouldn’t budge the pin. Grinder made some progress cutting through the bushing…and pretty sparks…. Today the welder comes to cut it out completely, and the new parts “should” be here next week….

At least the beaver enjoys the pond. So long as he only swims and doesn’t build…he can stay! The water level has certainly improve too!

Half-way there now…new pond coming soon and it is filling-up almost as quickly as we dig it, which is perfect!

Once there was only a choked-bog

Today…may be the last day for these boggy expanses. Soon we will transform them into deeper ponds with edge bogs, to provide more room for the ducks, geese, and other critters that frequent. At the same time, we will be creating a year-round water source for all. Stay tuned!
